And

spindles and beams and

tiny little trees 

that keep our house from floating

up to you

 

I’ll tie it to a blue jay 

and

he’ll drag us up there 

and

I’ll tell him you’re the man on the moon

and

he’ll have to take the journey to find out

 

and

Mom says blue jays aint strong enough

But she’s just an adult so

She forgot how to understand
